Armistice 1918-2018
In 2018, we commemorated the centennial of Armistice Day, observed since that time at eleven o’clock in the morning—the “eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” of 1918.
Our design features a powerful visual metaphor for that speaks for itself. Amid the death and utter destruction of the Great War, the wings of peace arrive – the Armistice finally cements the end of hostilities in 1918.
